Ray Barbera, Owner
Ray Barbera is the owner of MAB Property Management. Ray has been buying, renovating and managing real estate in Central Massachusetts since the early 1970’s. He has extensive experience and expertise in all components of real estate ownership and management.
Ray was born, raised and educated in Worcester. Ray is a 1976 graduate of Clark University and earned his Master’s degree in special education from Fitchburg State University in 1981. He has taught and coached middle and high school students in the Worcester, Leicester and Auburn public schools.
Ray and his professional, highly competent team are dedicated to providing comprehensive property management for multiple clients’ real estate management needs.
Nick Tessier, Maintenance Coordinator
Nick Tessier is our Vice President for Construction and Building Maintenance. Nick holds a Construction Supervisor’s License from the state of Massachusetts. Nick has 20 years of experience in the construction, renovation and servicing of residential and commercial real estate. Nick manages the prompt response to all tenants’ and clients’ service requests. Nick oversees snow removal at all MAB properties. Additionally, he coordinates and executes all repairs and renovation projects. Nick also communicates and secures commitments from high-quality tradesmen and service providers who provide ongoing support to MAB Property Management.
Tim Gallagher is our Vice President for Business Development. Tim Gallagher joins the MAB team with extensive experience in communication, operations and management. Tim holds a B.A. in Psychology from Brandeis University and a Masters in Education from Worcester State University. He has contributed in multiple facets of the MAB operation during recent years, which strengthen his current role in the company. Having taught social studies in the vocational technical high school setting for 20 years, Tim brings instructional skills as well as a vast perspective and network. These assets enhance his versatile role with MAB Property Management.
Tim works with our current and future clients assessing their needs, setting up their management plan, and regularly reviewing the services that we provide, making any adjustments that our clients request. Tim manages the orientation program for new clients, serving as liaison for the ongoing, dynamic communication between MAB Property Management and its clients. Tim continually updates our clients on building status, makes recommendations, and keeps clients informed on current real estate trends and requirements with respect to laws and regulations impacting their real estate holdings.
Jack Gardula is another multi-skilled member of our team. Jack manages and executes the snow removal and landscaping components for all of our clients. Jack is the MAB Property Management lead painter, organizing all painting projects. Additionally, Jack coordinates the common area maintenance at all of our clients’ buildings and responds to tenant service calls.
Jack is a recent graduate of Quinsigamond Community College, earning an associate degree in the field of business.
Doreen Mullaly is our Administrative Assistant. Doreen monitors most of our company’s activities, responses and remediation steps taken. Doreen is in regular communication with our company’s clients, specifically rent collection, leases executed and many other pending matters. Doreen also handles client onboarding. Her responsibilities also include generating new leases and lease renewals, associated documentation and escrow accounts.
Doreen is a 1986 graduate of Johnson and Wales University.
